Tradition of the upazila

Pir Saheb's Mazar Sharif and Khwaja Yunus Ali (RA) Memorial Hospital and Medical College are located in the western part of Chowhali Upazila. Which attracts visitors.

 

* Indigo was cultivated here during the British period. The infamous indigo planters had an indigo factory in Bar Pakhia village. It has now disappeared into the river in the course of time.

 

* There is a handloom weaving industry here. Traditionally, it is appreciated everywhere.
